Having a job is fantastic. Earning money is really good, regardless of what career path you have chosen. Finding a good job, though, is even better. The danger of that, though, is becoming comfortable, complacent and sitting back enjoying yourself and earning your money in this “good” job that you have landed.
The danger of that, though, is you go nowhere. You do not make any progress. You are not learning anything, not developing your skills and going nowhere quickly. You always need to be learning, even outside of work, looking at to add to your skillset and trying to show your bosses, and yourself, that you have not settled. You can take courses for your career, you can do extra things in work or, and perhaps the most difficult thing to do, is to take extra curricular things on board. Be it a language, something completely different, or even something to expand your life and friendship group.
